Tanna made her Bollywood debut with the December 2005 film Dosti: Friends Forever, playing the role of Nandini Thapar, sister of Bobby Deol. The star cast of the film also included Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Juhi Chawla and Shakti Kapoor. Tanna’s second film was a Kannada movie, I Am Sorry Mathe Banni Preethsona, which released in June 2011. She will be next seen in the upcoming movie Tina and Lolo, with Sunny Leone, Deepak Tijori and Taaha Shah.

She has also acted in popular TV serials like Kahi To Milenge, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Shararat, Kkusum and Adaalat.
